Eight Years for Resource Bank

COVINGTON- This year marks eight years since Resource Bank was chartered in July of 1998. Since the bank’s humble beginning eight years ago it has grown to include seven branches spanning the St. Tammany and Washington parishes, and increasing all the time.

The celebration began, combined with the Hwy 21 branch opening, on July 27. Each year to celebrate the bank’s birthday, a barbeque is held for one day at each branch location which spreads over two weeks time. Food and fun is served for all employees and customers of the bank. To end the celebration, Resource Bank holds their annual Employee Appreciation Banquet. This year’s banquet was held at the Village Walk branch in Covington. Five year anniversary pins were also given to the honored guests of the evening: Erin Powell, Patricia Inman, and Bonnie Waller.
